Join our team. Tech beyond cool.

We're not here just to have fun. We're here to create technology designed for more meaningful connections–for deeper understanding, freer expression, and optimal productivity. We produce breakthroughs in optics that deliver a goosebump-inducing, fully-enveloped AR experience.

A Little Background

Meta was born in 2012 when Meron Gribetz imagined how different things could be if the technology we use every day truly connected us to our surroundings and to each other. He built his first prototype with an oven-heated knife, a hot glue gun, and the best components he could get his hands on.

Just a year later, after a successful Kickstarter campaign, Meta entered the marketplace with the first see-through glasses that allowed wearers to move and manipulate 3D content intuitively, using natural hand gestures. By 2014, Meron was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Technology list.

Meta's Leadership

It takes exceptional vision, expertise, commitment, and creativity to chart the future of augmented reality and to change the world. We have all that, and then some. Many on our team left industry-leading companies and world-leading institutions to help define the future of AR.
